Google Tag Manager integration

Checks the tags behind your conversion data.

Coming soon

The Google Tag Manager integration is coming soon. Once connected, ClickBoss will read your published container, check the tags behind your Google Ads and GA4 conversions, and flag paused, duplicated or broken tags before they skew the numbers you spend on.

Frequently asked questions

When will the Google Tag Manager integration be ready?

It's in development. We don't publish dates we can't promise, so this page will switch to Connect the day it goes live. Until then, ClickBoss audits already check your Google Analytics and Google Ads data for tracking problems every morning.

What will ClickBoss check in Google Tag Manager?

Your live, published container: every tag, trigger and variable. It will flag paused tags, tags with no trigger, duplicate GA4 or Google Ads conversion tags, Ads conversions without a Conversion Linker, missing consent settings and changes still waiting to be published.

Can ClickBoss see whether my tags actually fire?

No. Tag Manager's API shares your setup, not your traffic. ClickBoss will read the setup from Tag Manager and the results from Google Analytics and Google Ads, then compare them. When a container change lines up with a drop in conversions, you'll know where to look.

How will I connect Google Tag Manager to ClickBoss?

In ClickBoss, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Google Tag Manager. Sign in with Google and approve view-only access to your containers. Google's view-only permission can't edit or publish anything. Pick the container for each project, and disconnect any time.
