It pulls total spend by campaign for yesterday, the last 7 days and the last 14 days from Meta Ads, so you can instantly see if a campaign is accelerating, dropping or holding steady.
Does this include Instagram and Facebook spend?
Yes. Meta Ads Manager reports spend across all placements (Facebook feed, Instagram feed, Stories, Reels, Audience Network) in one number per campaign. The playbook shows combined spend per campaign.
How do I spot a runaway campaign with this?
Compare yesterday's spend against the 7-day average. If a campaign spent 2-3x its normal daily rate, it is either scaling intentionally or burning budget on a new audience or creative that is not yet optimised. Either way it is worth checking.
Why does my Ads Manager spend differ from what ClickBoss shows?
Usually a timezone difference. Meta reports in the account's timezone; ClickBoss normalises to your project timezone. For exact reconciliation, match the date ranges in both tools.
Can I get this automatically every morning?
Yes. Toggle the Watch switch on this playbook and ClickBoss will run it automatically and flag any spend anomalies in your morning briefing.
