What deal data does this playbook surface?
All open deals grouped by pipeline stage, total pipeline value, average deal size, and time-in-stage for each deal. Closed-won and closed-lost deals are excluded from the pipeline view.
What is a stalled deal?
A deal that has been in the same stage for longer than the typical time-in-stage for your pipeline. The playbook flags deals that have been stuck for more than 2x the average, which usually indicates either a dead deal or one that needs intervention.
How is this different from HubSpot's built-in pipeline report?
HubSpot's report is a static snapshot. This playbook actively flags anomalies: stalled deals, stage imbalances, deals moving backward. It surfaces them as findings you can act on, not just data you have to interpret.
Does this support multiple pipelines?
Yes. If your HubSpot account has multiple pipelines (for example, New Business and Expansion), the playbook breaks down the health check per pipeline.
Can I use this to forecast monthly revenue?
The playbook shows current pipeline value and stage probabilities. For a weighted forecast, pair it with the Full Funnel Overview playbook which factors in close rates over time.
